Meet the Founder

Carla Brant, CDCA II, RCP

With over ten years of experience in recovery, Carla's passion for intervention services stems from her own personal recovery journey as well as navigating her daughter's addiction and recovery. Carla is committed to helping others gain access to the resources and support they need to lead fulfilling, addiction-free lives. She is fervent about helping families get their loved ones into treatment as she knows first-hand how the nuances and challenges of addiction impact the entire family and how both individual and family healing are enhanced by intervention services.

Carla established CDK Interventions, LLC to provide quality intervention and recovery services that are based on training, experience, and known successful practices. She is committed to helping others achieve a life of serenity and freedom by accessing and utilizing the resources and support available to them. Carla is an advocate for treatment and recognizes it as a key component to sustained recovery.

Carla holds a counseling license in the state of Ohio and is a Certified Recovery Coach through the Connecticut Community of Addiction Recovery (CCAR). She has been trained in a variety of evidence-based intervention modalities through Patricia Pike’s CanAm Intervention training courses and Judith Landau’s ARISE™ Network Training. Carla often uses a combination of models for her interventions as there is not a one-size-fits-all approach.

Carla obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interpersonal and Public Communications. Her initial career began in sales until years later when she chose to stay at home to raise her two young daughters. Carla now enjoys her time with family and good friends, playing pickleball with her husband, and helping to make a difference in the lives of others struggling with addiction.
